Breakfast in Japan is so different than the one I usually eat at home. Here, I have already eaten more fish for breakfast than in my entire life before (I actually only ate salmon really before becoming vegetarian) 🐟

There is always rice and miso soup (misoshiro), green tea and salted ‘Nori’ to make your own mini-sushi. Pickles and something like scrambled eggs but much much better called ‘Tamagoyaki’ cannot be missed either! The exact same food can be found at the dinner table too, just with more variations of fish. And tempura 🍤😋 But to be honest, a lot of times I don’t even know what I’m eating exactly 🤦‍♀️ So, it’s up to you now to decide which one of those two pictures is breakfast or dinner !?

At 7:30, after having this delicious breakfast this morning (the best one so far) we accidentally went for a 20km sprint and already arrived at 12:30 at our accommodation for the night! Oops, I guess this means we had another chill day of reading, napping and eating 🤭
