After an exhausting day yesterday going up the mountain ⛰️, we were rewarded today with a beautiful sight of the valley. Our host was also very kind to wash, dry and fold our clothes (and this lifts up the mood of any pilgrim 😊).

There was a long stretch before we could reach the first temple of the day, temple 13 (倧ζ—₯ε―Ί). Along the way we could once more enjoy the stunning views of the fully blossomed Sakura trees. After visiting temples 14 (εΈΈζ₯½ε―Ί), 15 (ε›½εˆ†ε―Ί) and 16 (観音寺) we reached our Ryokan, which is a fancier traditional japanese accommodation. Both me and Maike decided to put the vegetarianism aside and eat tuna sashimi 🍣 and we don’t regret: this Ryokan is known for its renowned chefs and the food was absolutely delicious πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³πŸ˜— (chefs kiss).
