Temple 13-16 (or who jumps better)
March 26, 2023After an exhausting day yesterday going up the mountain β°οΈ, we were rewarded today with a beautiful sight of the valley. Our host was also very kind to wash, dry and fold our clothes (and this lifts up the mood of any pilgrim π).
There was a long stretch before we could reach the first temple of the day, temple 13 (倧ζ₯ε―Ί). Along the way we could once more enjoy the stunning views of the fully blossomed Sakura trees. After visiting temples 14 (εΈΈζ₯½ε―Ί), 15 (ε½εε―Ί) and 16 (観ι³ε―Ί) we reached our Ryokan, which is a fancier traditional japanese accommodation. Both me and Maike decided to put the vegetarianism aside and eat tuna sashimi π£ and we donβt regret: this Ryokan is known for its renowned chefs and the food was absolutely delicious π¨βπ³π (chefs kiss).
