Today was one of the toughest days of the whole route 😮‍💨 In our guide, this path is described as ‘henro-korogashi’ which literally means ‘where a pilgrim falls down’. Which is what Bruno did. Multiple times 😅

It was slippery, cold, rainy and steep 🌧️⛰️Only the beautiful Sakura trees were a nice distraction on our ascent. And our conversations 🧡

When we finally crossed the mountain and arrived at the temple we could eat inside, luckily 🤞There, we also met our new friend from today again, Natsuko-San, a Japanese woman from Hawaii. She’s lovely! Selfies coming soon 🤳

Peace out ✌️
