Day 125, part 3

It’s so funny how I’m still not used to be in the US: on google maps, it shows that from the bus stop to my hotel is only two blocks. From the hotel to the laundromat, two more blocks. Then, two more blocks to the convenience store. Easy peasy! Except that every block takes a lifetime to walk.

I spent my whole afternoon walking on the infinite sidewalks taking care of annoying details of my town chores: I had to walk for almost an hour to exchange my bills into coins, so I could pay the laundry machine. I also had to rearrange the furniture in my hotel room to fit all the hanging-to-dry gear that’s spread around. At least I got my pizza!

Tomorrow it’s a zero, but it’s a looong travel day.
